Hella Jongerius – IKEA PS Jongsberg Vases
Betaalbaar Dutch Design vind je bij IKEA. In 2005 strikte het Zweedse warenhuis ontwerper Hella Jongerius een vaas te ontwerpen. Ze kreeg 3 uitgangspunten mee; stijlvol, betaalbaar en geschikt voor massaproductie. De IKEA PS Jongsberg Vazen waren het resultaat. Ze zijn nog steeds in de collectie en vrijwel altijd direct uitverkocht.

Affordable Dutch Design can be found at IKEA. In 2005 the Swedish department store asked designer Hella Jongerius to design a vase with 3 principles; stylish, affordable and suitable for mass production. The IKEA PS Jongsberg Vases were the result, they are still in the collection and sold out most of the time.
